I am a nature, portrait and concert photographer from the Appalachian mountains of southeast Kentucky where I have lived with my beautiful wife for almost 30 years.
This journey really began for me in the fall of 2004, when I bought my first decent digital camera, a Sony F717 point and shoot. We had shot some flowers growing in our yard, I took some images of those flowers. Then had some prints made and with my wife’s encouragement I entered those prints in a local contest and won first place for one of the images. The rest, as they say, is history!
I shoot with Canon bodies along with Canon and Tamron lenses. Manfrotto tripods and heads. Lowepro bags and backpacks. Tiffen Circular Polarizers and Singh Ray grads.
